Focusing on Sports

Mass Demo: Yellow Cardinals
In the last few days, I can say that I enjoyed almost every single activity held during the Intramurals 2013. Though I didn't get to join to all of them, I surely got to watch players play them instead. But for me, the best part of the event was when we, the mass demo dancers, got to perform our dance number in front of a whole lot of crowd. While performing, I was able to look at all my schoolmate's faces and how they seemed to be so interested which I really appreciated. At the same time, while performing, I also was able to reminisce all our hardships for this presentation. I remembered how we skipped meals only to form a routine or two. Lastly, my favorite part of the performance isn't related to how I danced or moved to the music. It is all about how I got to showcase my talent in dancing. After our performance, I decided to watch some other games. I willingly watched a basketball game of Grades 7 and 8 with my friends. We all laughed, smiled and yelled for the Grade 8 players. I also watched a game of badminton. I cheered for my friends who were players of the game. Now that I am an 8th grader, I can say that I enjoyed this year's Intramurals more than last year's.

MY MOTHER

There was never a time when she failed to make me smile. She has always been the reason why I feel confident on whatever I do and think positively even though things are going wrong. This woman kept me thinking of what I will be doing in the future when she is not beside me anymore. Just like all the other teens out there, I tend to answer her rudely especially when she scolds me. All I know is that she’ll never stop from yelling at you when you did something wrong. Is she a perfectionist? To herself, I think not. But to me, I would say yes. She wanted me to shine bright as I grow up. One time, I was sitting on my bed, playing the guitar. She really stared at me until I finished singing the whole song. After all the singing and playing, she clapped for me and smiled. “You’re such a talented young lady. Just like me,” she said. I had no choice but to agree with her. I even had this fight with one of my classmates in grade school. I explained to her that I seriously feel guilty and that I know I was on the wrong side. But all the way, she still believed I was right. She kept on giving me these reasons to why I should not feel sorry to my classmate. Well, she’s my mom. She may reprimand me most of the time, but who cares? There can be no one like this strong woman who can be so loyal to me. Endlessly, I am thanking God for blessing me with this kind of mom.

IT'S A LOVE STORY (BABY, JUST SAY YES)

Taylor was off to the rehearsals of her first headlining tour. When she got there, she mingled with her back-up dancer named Claire and talked mostly about Taylor's crush, Grant, her very own lead guitarist. Taylor liked Grant although she knew to herself that he has a girlfriend.

The next day, Grant and Taylor had lunch together at Central Park and they talked about their feelings for each other. Grant admitted to Taylor that he likes her too and that he broke up with his girlfriend for she had him replaced. Afterwards, when the two of them got back to rehearsals, Claire came up to Taylor and confessed to her that Grant was her ex-boyfriend. Claire, Grant and Taylor eventually got together at one point and laughed every single time, proving their happiness for each of them.
